58th June Long Weekend Baseball Carnival
On behalf of Tamworth Baseball Inc., President Hayley Bullock warmly invites your team to participate in our 58th June Long Weekend Baseball Carnival.
For more than 50 years, Tamworth Baseball Association has proudly hosted this annual carnival, welcoming teams from across New South Wales, ACT, QLD and Victoria.
The June Long Weekend Carnival provides an opportunity for players of all skill levels to compete, renew friendships and enjoy a weekend of baseball, camaraderie and celebration.
We look forward to welcoming your team to Tamworth for another fantastic carnival.

Minimum Participation Age: 15 years
Registration fees and the refundable bond must be paid at the time of registration.
Withdrawal Policy
Teams withdrawing after 1 May 2027 will forfeit their full registration fee.
๐ฐ Nomination Fees

A $300 refundable bond is included in the nomination fee.
The bond will be refunded following the successful completion of the carnival, provided the team has complied with all carnival rules and conduct requirements.

Team Lists

The required team list form is available via the Tamworth Baseball Website.

Players
Team officials
Supporters
This information must include telephone numbers and addresses.
Grading
All team grading is at the discretion of the carnival committee. Teams may be moved to a different division where the committee considers this appropriate.
Previous carnival winners must nominate in the grade immediately above the division in which they previously won.
Carnival Draw
The carnival draw will be released as early as two weeks prior to the carnival.
Media
There may be media coverage and photography at the carnival.
Please advise the carnival committee if any member of your team does not consent to their image being used for media or promotional purposes.

A to D Grade
Permitted bats are:
Wooden bats
BBCOR composite bats
Exceptions
Female players and 15-year-old male players may use an aluminium bat meeting the BBCOR -5 specification.
๐ฅ Coaching, Umpiring & Scoring Requirements
Each participating team is responsible for providing:
Umpire
Each team must supply an umpire.
A & B Grade teams must provide an accredited umpire.
Scorer
Each team must provide a scorer for its games.
Teams must submit game results following each match.
Further information regarding the scoring and results process will be provided closer to the carnival.
Coaches
All team coaches must hold Level B Coaching Accreditation.
๐งพ Player Registration Requirements
All players must be appropriately registered and financial members of:
Baseball Australia
Baseball NSW
Players who are registered with Baseball Australia but are not members of Baseball NSW will be required to pay the applicable Baseball NSW fee.
Non-Registered Players
Players who are not currently registered may obtain a short-term tournament registration through the Tamworth Baseball Website.
๐ต Refundable Bond Conditions
The $300 bond will be refunded at the conclusion of the carnival provided that:
All required umpire duties have been fulfilled.
The team has complied with all carnival rules.
There have been no breaches of conduct or other carnival requirements.

Further information, including carnival procedures, game schedules, scoring requirements and other relevant details, will be provided to all registered teams closer to the carnival.
